Today’s card was made by Mom (the first K in K & K). It’s simple and stunning. I love the black layer that gives it that touch of sophistication.
To start, you’ll want to cut the following:
Gorgeous Grape:
8.5″ x 11″, score at 5.5″ (this is your standard card base)
Whisper White:
4″ x 5.25″ (cut 2)
2.75″ x 4″
Basic Black:
3″ x 4.25″
Center your 2.75″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White on one piece of the 4″ x 5.25″ Whisper White. Stamp your floral images with Smoky Slate Ink, stamping onto both pieces of Whisper White at the same time. There may be a small blank gap due to stamping on 2 pieces at once. That’s ok. Our black cardstock is going to cover that.
Color your flowers. We used Purple Posy and Old Olive blends. I love how simple the blends are to use and how great they look!
Stamp your sentiment using Gorgeous Grape Ink.
Now lets assemble your pieces. Adhere the smaller whisper white onto your Basic Black. Then Adhere these two layers onto the larger whisper white. Adhere your 2nd 4″ x 5.25″ Whisper White to the inside of your card. You can stamp/color this piece before adhering if you like.
