Spiderman Look-alike Card

My daughter went through a super hero phase. Books, movies, posters, toys…if it was superhero, she needed it. She’s out of that phase now, but as soon as I saw the Cobwebs Embossing Folder, I knew I HAD to make this card.

To start you’ll want to cut you card base. Cut a sheet of Night of Navy cardstock to 8.5″ x 5.5″, score at 4.25″.

Next, emboss a piece of 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ Real Red cardstock using the Cobwebs embossing folder. Glue this piece to the front of your card base.

For the eyes, die cut 1 Whisper White heart and 1 Basic Black heart. Cut the hearts in half. I centered the heart on my trimmer and cut it in half that way to get a straight line. (See pictures below)

Glue the hearts together to form his eyes. Adhere to your card base.

It’s simple as that!

I also used the Banner Year Stamp set to decorate the inside of my card and my envelope with a little spiderweb. The inside Whisper White cardstock measures 4″ x 5.25″.

Below is the list of items I used to make this card.
