When I saw these zebras in the new Annual Catalog, I knew I HAD to have them! They are absolutely adorable. As nursery director of our church, I knew I would get a lot of great use out of these little guys. Today’s card is one I made for one of my nursery babies for her 1st birthday.
Start with your standard 5.5″ x 8.5″ card bases scored at 4.25″. Adhere a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of the 2020-2022 In Color Cardstock to the front. (I chose the Magenta Madness Polka Dots).
Cut out the largest Stitched Nested Labels Die on Whisper White. Stamp your zebra with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Because I’m using this as a birthday card I also added the birthday hat on my little zebra. I also stamped the shadow piece underneath him.
Next I colored my zebras stripes and party hat some pretty and festive colors. I used Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo. (My precious nursery baby is a sweet little girly girl…she needs all the frilly pretty colors.) Next I stamped my sentiment using Magenta Madness Ink. Sprinkle on some of the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots like confetti. How fun is this?!

To add to the “party” fun, I also stamped the inside of my card with another fun little zebra and gave him some rainbow stripes as well. This card is going to be perfect for my sweet little nursery baby.
